Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Lucia Marco is a singer-songwriter and composer who now lives in Los Angeles. From a very young age she demonstrated extraordinary abilities with her voice and excelled in the fields of guitar performance and composition. Her studies culminated with a double bachelors degree in composition and choral conducting from UCA (Catholic University of Argentina). In Argentina she performed regularly both with her chamber choral choir (and toured several countries) and her jazz band 'Jazzmine Sound’.
In 2008 she was the musical director and a performer in the Musical 'Leonardo's Supper’ which received a Critic's Award for best 'Cafe Concert Play’.
In 2009 she relocated to New York City to continue her solo career and performed in important venues like Carnegie Hall several times.
In 2012 she recorded her first solo album How to Explain (Como Explicar), which is an eclectic compilation of musical styles, highly influenced by Argentine rock and pop culture.
Over the past ten years, Lucia has participated in jazz, musical theater and choral events and has toured throughout the United States and Canada, Central America, South America and Europe.
